Dr. Klara Brown is a New York and Connecticut State Licensed Acupuncturist, board certified herbalist, and Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She is a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine as certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Klara has an extensive background in women’s health and fertility support from over a decade of experience as an acupuncturist, herbalist, and former massage therapist and doula. She is an active participant in the ever-advancing field of reproductive health, as a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and through her ongoing collaborations with renowned reproductive endocrinologists and fertility clinics throughout NYC.
As an skilled practitioner with an integrative approach, it has been Klara’s clinical experience that the highest quality of care and success comes from utilizing the best of both worlds and bridging the gap between Eastern and Western medicine in order to generate dynamic and effective treatment plans. Klara works with her patients to not only encourage and develop healthy lifestyle habits that include dietary support, appropriate supplements, herbal medicine, regular exercise, and stress management, but to actively listen and hold space for all the joys and sorrows that happen along one’s wellness journey.
Klara has a private practice in Manhattan and Stamford, CT, that is centered on Women’s Health, with a large focus on fertility support, including women, men, LGBTQ individuals and couples, trying to conceive naturally, or going through western interventions such as IUI or IVF. Klara is dedicated and passionate in working with her all patients, as acupuncture offers tremendous benefits for improved fertility health and pregnancy outcomes for both mother and child.
